I had the pleasure of tasting Tenuta Masciangelo's "Note Indigo", a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC that won me over from the first sip. A structured red, with intense aromas of dark fruit, spices and liquorice, which then open up to elegant notes of chocolate and vanilla. In the mouth, an enveloping velvet, with well-balanced tannins and a persistent finish that gives sensations of pure joy. A meditation wine, perfect for accompanying red meats and mature cheeses.

All the best of wine without being too heavy or sugary. Bought a box when we had some mates over last week and it went down an absolute treat. Will be getting more for Christmas!
